Get into game with Stalker CS on DX10. Turn OFF the TV. Wait for it to turn completely off (wait for capacitors to empty, 15 seconds or so) and turn it on again. Voila, full screen scaling. Whenever the renderer reinitializes (change levels)you have to do it again. Not really sure why it works that way though, my Nike Hoodie Mens best guess is that the vid card is redetecting the display's max resolution and rescaling to its proper size. playing Assassin's Creed on a 42" TV. The way I fixed this was adjusting the overscan settings in Catalyst Control Center to +15% despite the desktop filling the entire screen properly. Amusingly enough, it didn't change anything with the desktop but did change the amount of screen space Assassin's Creed took up.
Also, the TV is able to play Full Screen 3D at 1920X1080 on my old system with the Radeon x850 (although about the only thing I own that would run at those resolutions on that system was Serious Sam.)
doesn't do that to begin with is anyone's guess. For reference, my TV is a 42" Toshiba at 1080p.
I don't have personal experiece with this even though I have a smiliar setup. A Westy 37" 1080p LCD with an AMD ATi 3870. I have had no problems displaying every game (Crysis DX10 included) as well as all other types of content at 1080p from my computer. I am NOT using the HDMI cable however because it was just easier to do picture in picture using DVI for my computer and HDMI from my Sat box.
It was a pretty confusing moment, considering that Crysis already ran full screen. Why Assassin's Creed didn't until I did that, I don't know.
Is it the new Catalyst drivers?

The settings should be located under HDTV settings in advanced view mode (not at my main system ATM, so I can't tell you more).
I have been scanning forums and websites intermittently for the past month or so, with no luck.
Here is what I did:
Well, I found another game that had issues scaling. Stalker: CS. DX10 mode wouldn't scale fully and DX9 would, just like your experiences. Funny thing is I Nike Windrunner Jacket Blue
I totally forgot about this thread, or I would have posted it here. Hopefully it works for you too.
2 Radeon HD4850s in Xfire (Visionteks)However, no matter what I try, I cannot get Crysis to run at 1920X1080. It loads, but the image does not fill the full screen (black box around image). Strangely, when I set the resolution to 1680 X 1050, the game fills the screen nicely.
Thanks in advance for any ideas!
When I run the game in Window Mode (as opposed to Full Screen mode) I do get 1080p to scale properly, however, Xfire does not work in window mode, and performance at that resolution is poor on a single 4850.
